Microneedling involves the use of tiny sterile needles that create micro punctures in your skin to stimulate the wound healing process. This process encourages the growth of new collagen and elastin.
Microneedling can be used for a variety of skin complaints including acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, pigmentation and stretch marks.
By producing new collagen it is also a great way to achieve plumper, smooth, glass like skin.
At No.1 Medispa we use targetted mesotherapy serums or advanced skin boosters alongside your treatment, by pushing these products into the lower layers of the dermis we are maximising results by allowing 80% more product into the skin through the micro channels we have created.
Combine Microneedling with one of our advanced skin boosters:
Combined with microneedling, these treatments penetrate deeply to support natural skin renewal, reduce fine lines, improve texture, and enhance overall radiance — giving your complexion a rejuvenated, glowing, and youthful finish.

Microneedling is a gentle and safe treatment designed to refresh and rejuvenate your skin. Most clients feel minimal discomfort, often described as a light tingling or pressure.
While it is slightly more intensive than other treatments, any minor downtime is temporary — and the glowing, firmer, and revitalised results make it completely worth it.
You can return to work after your treatment, however your skin may feel red and sensitive for 24-48 hours post treatment. Therefore make up is not advised for a minimum of 24 hours to allow the skin to breathe and heal as skin can feel tight and dry after treatment.
For acne scarring and pigmentation a minimum of 6 sessions is recommended. However you should notice a gradual difference between 6-8 weeks after your appointment.
For general skin health 3 sessions is recommended a minimum of 4 weeks apart and then maintenance sessions as and when required.
